Education: 

In 1985, Vladimir Mitrofanovich Studenikin graduated from the 2nd Moscow Order of Lenin State Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov, specializing in Pediatrics. In 1987 he completed his clinical residency at the Research Institute of Nutrition of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, specializing in Pediatrics (Pediatric Nutrition).  

Professional Experience:

1987–1990: Junior Research Associate, Department for the Study of Nutrition of Sick Children of the Research Institute of Nutrition of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences.

1990–1999: Senior and Chief Researcher, Department of Neonatology and Premature Infants of the Research Institute of Pediatrics of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences.  

1999–2017: Chief Researcher, Department of Psychoneurology and Psychosomatic Pathology of the Scientific Center for Children's Health of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.  

2010–2017: Consultant of the Department of Early Childhood Pathology, Department of Reproductive Health, Department of Urology, and Department of Surgery (Pediatric Neurology) of the Scientific Center for Children's Health of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.  

From October 2017 to the present: Paediatrician and Neurologist at the «Scientific and Practical Specialized Medical Center “Dream Clinic”».  

2013–2017: Professor at the Department of Faculty Pediatrics No. 1 of the Pediatric Faculty of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.  

Since 2013 he has been working as a guest lecturer at the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition of the Therapy Faculty of the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (RMAPO) and the Department of Gastroenterology and Dietetics of the Faculty of Continuing Professional Education of the of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.  

Academic Activity:  

1989: Awarded the Candidate of Medical Sciences academic degree.  

1997: Awarded the Doctor of Medical Sciences academic degree.  

1999: Awarded the academic title of Professor in Pediatrics by the State Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation.  

2012: Elected as a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS).  

2014: Awarded the academic title of Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS).  

2015: Elected as a Academician (Full Member) of the International Academy of Natural Sciences (IANS).  

Professor Vladimir Studenikin has authored over 1270 scientific and popular science publications on psychophysiological research instruments and systems, early childhood neurology (0 to 3 years), epilepsy in neuropediatrics, somatoneurological aspects of pediatric neurodietology, pediatric neurodietology, etc.
