The ways of increasing the effectiveness of treatment for adolescents with chronic vulvovaginitis associated with ureamycoplasma infection were studied.
Cough as a symptom of acute respiratory infections, is one of the reasons for patients and their parents to seek medical help. In choosing the therapeutic strategy, the doctor must «manage» cough, using the preparations depending on the clinical situation, those which influence on cough reflex or those which normalize drainage function of the respiratory tract. Currently, pathogenic approach to cough therapy is getting more and more widespread. Its meaning consists in relief of infectious inflammation using preparations with anti-inflammatory effect. One of promising directions is studying efficiency and implementation of complex antitussive preparations in clinical practice. In article the review of results of researches of the combined medical product for treatment of cough based on releaseactive of antibodies in children is presented.
Acute intestinal infections is a significant issue in pediatrics. One of the links of pathogenesis is destabilization of microbiocenosis system, which is associated with the action of intestinal infection agents. In this connection, probiotics become the key link of pathogenic therapy of acute intestinal infections. Prescription of these preparations allows to reduce the period of diarrheal syndrome and probability of severe forms development. Choosing the strategy of probiotic therapy, it is necessary to follow the features of the strains which proved their efficiency under acute intestinal infections.
One of the vital problems of pediatrics, and, in particular, of children’s gastroenterology, is disorders in motor function of large intestine. Non-differentiated connective tissue dysplasia and concomitant vegetative disorders have significant meaning in formation of functional constipation. The priority in therapy of functional constipations is achievement of daily mild and painless defecation. Currently, balneotherapy, with use of drinking mineral waters, with mild effect on gastrointestinal tract, and without serious side effect, is most applicable. Use of magnesium-containing mineral waters is an effective remedy of correcting functional constipations in children, both in hospital conditions, and during sanatorium and resort treatment.
The article presents modern data on etiology of acute intestinal infections, their clinical manifestations, modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment. The questions of probiotic and metabolic therapy in acute intestinal infections are discussed. The antimicrobial, antitoxic, enzymatic action of a preparation based on the concentrate of metabolic products of saccharolytic (L. acidophilus, L. helveticus and E. faecalis) and proteolytic (E. coli) microflora, is explained. Evidence of its effectiveness in the treatment of infectious diarrhea of different etiologies in children is presented.
The article covers main anatomic and physiological features of children in newborn period, describes main measures of taking care of a newborn.
Acute respiratory viral infections is a pressing problem of pediatrics. ARVI treatment includes prescription of etiotropic and symptomatic therapy. Fever is a defense reaction against the infectious agent. The pediatrician’s arsenal traditionally includes paracetamol and ibuprofen as antipyretic therapy. The article covers the studies which confirm efficiency of use of the bioregulation drug compared to the efficiency of paracetamol.
The article considers modern data on etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, genetic diagnostics of hypoparathyroidism in adolescents and children. The syndromes flowing with the clinical picture of this disease are described. The methods of examination and modern recommendations for treatment are presented.
Basic emergencies, known to be routinely encountered in child neurology are covered. Contemporary principles of approach to its diagnostics and management in pediatric patients are considered.
One of the terrible complications of type 1 diabetes is damage to kidneys. Modern screening tests can detect diabetic nephropathy only from the 1st clinical stage — the stage of microalbuminuria, omitting initial structural and functional disorders which develop long before the increase in albumin excretion. It is necessary to search for available markers of the early stage of kidney damage and to create an algorithm for the formation of risk groups for diabetic nephropathy.
The clinical and epidemiological situation of giardiasis (lambliosis) in children of early age was analyzed. Giardiasis was registered more often in children from organized groups. The cause of the disease was non-adherence to the rules of personal hygiene, ongo- and geophagy. Clinically, giardiasis (lambliosis) was manifested by abdominal pain, decreased appetite, nausea and sleep disturbances, and by reactive changes in the pancreas. A positive double laboratory study after treatment may indicate a chronic course of the disease.
Currently, great attention is paid to prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). This article considers results of prospective observational study in prevention of influenza and ARVI among physicians.
The article represents modern views on methods of diagnostics and treatment of chronic pancreatitis (CP). Principles of replacement enzyme therapy of pancreas exocrine insufficiency were considered. Clinical criteria for diagnostics and evaluation of CP therapy were given. Taking into account pathophysiological aspects of disorders in secretion or activity of digestive enzymes, indications for choosing drug form and sufficient dosage of pancreatine-containing drugs were given.
We have analyzed the experience of treatment of 563 patients with diabetic foot syndrome. We have developed an algorithm for the treatment of patients, including modern diagnostic and treatment methods, in particular - endovascular correction of vascular disorders and vacuum aspiration. The use of new technologies in the treatment of patients with diabetic foot syndrome improves their quality of life and social adaptation.
The article presents the results of examination of 85 male patients with disturbances or lack of orgasmic sensations during sexual intercourse or in substitutional forms of sexual activity (masturbation, deep petting and others) against the background of disorders of sexual desire. Reasonable treatment and rehabilitation measures developed considering the structure of mental and sexual disorders are presented.
The article presents data on eczema — a recurrent inflammatory dermatosis with polymorphism of rashes formed under the influence of exogenous or endogenous risk factors. Etiological and pathogenic mechanisms leading to the development of eczema are given, the clinical picture of different forms of the disease is described in detail. The article reveals the information about the methods of diagnostics and therapy for these patients.
