Role of enzymes of non-animal origin in digestive disorders of various etiology

Abstract

The review of literature on features and advantages of drugs of digestive enzymes of non-animal origin, i.e., drugs which include vegetative, microbial or fungal enzymes, is presented in the article. Diseases and conditions upon which such drugs are prescribed have been pathogenically substantiated. Digestion violations — the reasons, clinical features, ways of their correction are presented in detail. Special attention is paid to the dietary supplement, which includes not only amilo-, proteo- and lipolytic enzymes, but also cellulose, and lactase, and also phytoadditives which positively influence digestion processes.
