Active skin care in the interrecurrent period in patients with acne

Abstract

An open, single-site, controlled, randomized clinical study on the effectiveness and safety of administration of a new locally produced topical cream with azelaic acid and organosilicon glycerhydrogel in acne patients during the interrecurrent period was performed. The undertaken study has shown that the new cream administration leads to positive dynamics of IGA and BASI, VAS of skin oiliness and the quality of life before and after the cream administration. The results of the study make it possible to recommend the new cream for administration during acne interrecurrent period as an alternative to standard skin-care products.
