Сombined gel containing ibuprofen and levomenthol, in the therapy of acute pain in neck and/or limb girdle caused by painful muscular spasm

Abstract

Myofascial pains is an important component of office syndrome, an occupational disease of many office workers. Efficiency of combined gel containing ibuprofen and levomenthol, was evaluated in 20 office workers with painful muscular spasm associated with the factors of working environment. Reduction of pain by 50% along with objective reduction of tonus of «indicative» muscles is revealed already in 3 days in two thirds of patients. Duration of the therapy of the painful muscular spasm with the combined gel containing ibuprofen and levomenthol, was 7 to 10 days, with complete pain reduction in 80% of patients.
