Obesity in children and adolescents: the problem and the ways of its solution. Review of Russian and international guidelines

Abstract

The problems of obesity in children and adolescents, and approaches to the therapy of this pathology were considered. It is highlighted that the most accessible and effective way of both prevention, and treatment of obesity in children and adolescents is non-drug therapy directed to formation/ modification of lifestyle not only for the patient, but also for all his/her environment.
