Possibilities of evaluation of left-ventricular hypertensive changes regression during antihypertensive treatment by means of averaged ECG versus traditional EСG and echocardiography
Abstract
The ability of 12-lead averaged electrocardiography (ECG) versus conventional ECG and echocardiography to determine left ventricular hypertensive changes during treatment of arterial hypertension were compared. Averaged ECG was defined to be effective and to excel conventional ECG and echocardiography in determining minor changes of LVH parameters during short-term medical treatment of arterial hypertension.
