Лабораторные маркеры (С-реактивный белок, прокальцитонин) могут помочь в диагностике заболевания и определении его прогноза. При выборе антибактериального препарата следует брать во внимание данные антибиотикорезистентности, наличие сопутствующих заболеваний, проводимую в течение предшествующих 3 месяцев антибиотикотерапию. Эффективной мерой профилактики внебольничной пневмонии служит вакцинация против пневмококка и гриппа.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Recently more and more cases of viral community-acquired pneumonia have been recorded. Laboratory markers (C-reactive protein, procalcitonin) can help diagnose this disease and determine its prognosis. When choosing an antimicrobial drug, data on antibiotic resistance, the presence of concomitant diseases, previous antibiotic therapy should be taken into consideration.
